The owner has apparently faced legal action before for running an illegal gambling den at the same address. A combined team of police and soldiers burst into the two-storey building behind a market on Ramkhamhaeng Soi 127 late on Tuesday night. The inside of the building was remodelled as a casino and divided into rooms for different games, including baccarat and high-low dice. Investigators said that the casino owner was a man, identified only as Hia To, who had been arrested in a past raid. Despite this, he continued to operate a gambling den at the same address.
